SCHEDULE OF PERFORMANCES
BEAUTY & THE BEAST
The traditional fairy tale first published by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, adapted by Vera Morris.

On a cold winter night, an old beggar woman stumbles upon a glorious castle belonging to a young prince. She asks the master of the castle to allow her to stay the night, away from the cold, but the Prince is vain and uncaring and turns her away solely for her appearance. As punishment for rebuffing her, she warns him not to be fooled by appearances, as true beauty lies within. Seeing his horrible heart for what it truly is, she turns the Prince into a hideous Beast and his servants into different objects. She gives him the rose to use as an hour-glass. The only way he can break the spell is to learn to love another and earn her love in return by the time the last petal falls. The Beast meets Beauty and her love restores Beast to his true form and happiness reigns.  It’s an age old story revealed in beautiful set & costumes, including music, humorous action, laughter and dance.

Ichabod Crane, a well-educated teacher, is new to Sleepy Hollow and seems to fit right in. He's taking over the choir, courting the wealthy daughter and sharing a ghost story or two. But not everyone is happy to see Ichabod and not everyone thinks he loves ghost stories as much as he says.  He meets a mysterious fate. Legend has it that he is the victim of the dreaded "headless horseman" who allegedly haunts Sleepy Hollow.
