Forgotten Day offers a contemporary style of praise music with a touch of flavor from the Hawaiian Islands. Their original songs tell a personal testimony using music to encourage the listener. This group of local musicians has lead worship in churches, recovery centers, and benefit concerts supporting causes greater than themselves. Their latest project has led the group to partner with Broken Chains 4 Humanity, a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian services in Guatemala. This concert showcases the work in Guatemala and also features the prior First Place winner of East County Idol, Chanelle Lewis. Forgotten Day invites you to join them for an evening of uplifting memories and music!
About Sivasa Laupati:
“Sivasa Laupati, known to most people as “Vasa”, was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. From his earliest childhood memories, Vasa has been singing with his family for church services either with his local youth choir or his family’s singing ministry, “A Few Good Men”. After graduating from Mountain View Academy, he studied Religion at Pacific Union College and finished his studies at La Sierra University. Vasa was surrounded by music all his life being exposed to all types of genres but it would be the influence of his grandfather, Filipo L. Lepulu, and his focus on Christ that would have the greatest pull on Vasa’s heart to serve Jesus.”
