El Campanil Theatre, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, often has opportunities available for part-time and on-call theatrical technicians.
Individuals with 1-2 years of experience in one or more of the following fields are encouraged to apply:
Sound Design
Live Sound Engineering
Lighting Design
Lighting Console Programming/Operation
Theatrical Electrician
Follow-Spot Operation
General Stagehand Work
No formal education is required, but previous experience or training in Technical Theatre is a big plus. Qualified candidates will have to pass a background check, and may need to undergo further checks if in proximity to youth performers. Pay rates range from $18 to $24.50 per hour, with clear goals to achieve pay advancement moving forward.
